The winter holidays are when many interact with family and friends… as well as stressful factors that can complicate relationship dynamics: food, alcohol, and money. Practicing boundaries can be one way to nurture these relationships and foster our social well-being. “Feeling dread or anxiety around the idea of spending time with someone is the loudest sign that a boundary is needed,” Melissa Urban says in The Book of Boundaries.
