Basic Needs Support
Purpose
The Basic Needs Support program is designed to provide comprehensive basic needs support and assistance to students. Basic needs are the everyday essentials that every student requires to live and learn well.
Essential needs can include:
- food,
- housing,
- health and wellness,
- financial stability,
- childcare,
- transportation,
- clothing access,
- and more!
The Basic Needs Collective provides case management support to help students learn about and connect with campus and community resources to help them meet their basic needs. We believe that when students’ basic needs are met, they can fully engage in their classes, campus life, and future plans. Our goal is to connect you with the support and resources to make that possible.
The program also plays a crucial role in raising awareness about basic needs and promoting a campus culture that prioritizes accessibility, stability, and holistic wellbeing.
