Safe Greeks 101
Description
This interactive workshop is a requirement of 60% of new members of the FSL community. We begin by grounding the conversation in our personal values, and how they can contribute to the larger community. We then talk about social norms and how they can influence our behavior, and from this lens we discuss party culture, hookup culture, and consent and communication. We also cover some basics about substance use and how to keep ourselves and others safe.
Overview/Objective
- Define our individual and community values, and what our responsibilities are to one another
- Discuss how we can create a safer party culture
- Demonstrate healthy ways to intervene and check in with our FSL community
