This workshop introduces participants to risks associated with alcohol and opioid use, as well as introduces was to apply harm reduction for those who choose to use.

- Gain a basic understanding of alcohol and opioids and present-day concerns
- Introduce the concept of harm reduction
- Apply the knowledge of harm reduction to substances
- Know how to recognize and respond to signs of an overdose
