The Benefits of a Stroll in the Sun
Hey Utah, have you enjoyed the sunshine yet? Simply spending fifteen minutes outdoors has been shown to improve emotional and physical wellbeing.
Before the real heat rolls in, try taking a mindfulness walk around your home, office, or neighborhood.
- Look for 5 things you see
- Listen for 4 noises (hopefully more birds than cars!)
- Notice 3 smells
- Identify 2 textures to touch
and say 1 affirmation aloud. Here are some a few of our favorites:

"I am worthy of rest and care"
