About

Harm reduction is a community-focused public health practice aimed at enhancing safety through practical measures. Everyday examples include using seatbelts, wearing sunscreen, and regular STI testing. In substance use, harm reduction involves actions like carrying naloxone, using fentanyl testing strips, and ensuring safe transportation for friends.

Throughout the month, the Center for Campus Wellness will host various events, including yoga, harm reduction supplies distribution, and safe use kit building. These activities aim to challenge stereotypes, distribute helpful tools, and promote mutual care within our campus community.
